Marketing is no longer beneficial with the latest update I enjoy the fact that's it's harder but found myself wasting money marketing and making almost no profit back from it only around 150K vs when I did no marketing I made between 450K to 1M, Also feel that you should earn money when taxes hit if you've lost profit that year instead of nothing happening since you pay when you make money why shouldn't you get money back when you make a loss please fix marketing it used to be Op but now there's just no point in doing it of course it shouldn't be like the previous update where you make millions from really no marketing but you should make more than 150K when you do market and wish I could support the game like it so far been following for about a year hope it stays browser couldn't buy anyway this will be ignored and marketing coulda just not worked for me but I also feel the Market system should evaluate your CPU vs your competitors I was way ahead in terms of R&D still found myself even with my competitors on Market

Also Popularity should have something do with it to found it way to easy to gin

yea

It was nerfed a tiny bit, but in my experience, marketing can still provide a huge boost to sales even now. So, I'm not sure what to tell you.
Also, it is affected by popularity and you get a popularity increase every time you use marketing.

And Popularity has become easier to gain

Can you tell me what's the optimal marketing cause I've tried a few combos

I market CPUs that I think will receive a high score. I do one to four large campaigns (depends on how much money I have) at the very beginning of the design process, only if I have over $1M.

I can get an average rating of 98 on my CPU's at end of the game most are at 100 since I'm always far ahead of my competitor's in R&D Although on Medium I have a hard time staying over 500K cause I'm ahead of R&D would it be better to throw out another of the same CPU just to earn extra money and by big do you mean billboards and tv cause I found that 4/5  of the marketing campaigns if all used at same time ends up in a loss

Popularity will shoot up quite fast with only 4 or 5 CPU's I can get around 25% popularity without any marketing

On Medium I can get to over 500K early game but later game the costs for creating a PC plus the R&D needed stay ahead of the opponents costs to much and will drive me into the negative 330K to make a PC with a pga dip and 12.37Mhz and not to mention the 80K needed just to research the pga am I researching to fast and if so then how am I supposed make profit while staying ahead of my competitor's since they are already at 9Mhz

You don't need answer I'm sure it's possible but seems like a decent amount has changed since I last checked on the game I used be able beat it on hard with some struggle not to much but now I can't get past Medium and I feel dum cause think it's just something I'm missing or that I have forgotten since last time I played

Yeah, I'm not sure what to answer. The game is always too easy for some and for others it's too hard. My advice is to focus on money first - make similar CPUs more often, as long as they are over 80/100 you should not have trouble making profit off them.

I've tried I think I get to focused on researching to stay ahead in terms of Mhz and dip packages vs actually going for profit and as long as you stay 20 dollars or less for your cpu vs it's production cost it will be over 90 most of the time 100 if you are ahead enough I know that's changed 15 used be max without dropping it's rating I'll keep working on the modes to try and give feedback since I know games still in development

That profit margin is too small. Just make your CPUs more expensive and you'll have money.

Beat it on medium pretty easy I just marketed before having 1M and as for competitors R&D should only be active when your actively making profit unless unlocking a new Mhz then it's acceptable to lose on some money marketing is still quite op but noticed that marketing in a region that couldn't afford a pc back then doesn't affect how much hype you generate but does affect the price for marketing whys that?

Marketing in those regions is less effective but still does generate hype.

I always make a bigger gain when I market my CPUs like for example when I don't market them I make $1M and if I do I make about $6M on very hard but that is later in the game
