is 1.5 the latest version?
On steam it looks like there were some updates in Aug and Sept 2020, don't we get access to those since we purchased it here on this site (so that you'd get more money for not having to pay 30% to Steam)?
Hi, community admin here (not the dev himself, but I do know a thing or two!),
It is indeed. The Itch.io is up to date with the Steam version - there's no differences among them. At most, you can expect the Steam version to be ahead by an hour or two, due to upload times, when a new update launches.
The upcoming updates have been slow, but progress is still being made. The dev's had some unexpected issues, first with wildfires, floods, then the pandemic, and the loss of a hired programmer. Crazy ride.
