Into the Dark

Darkness surrounds you. There are two gleaming lights in the distance, like faraway stars in the sky. · By Stephen Borden, analogbrain

An Ending Open To Interpretation

A really great short walking simulator where you are exploring a dark ruin , as you progress you seem to monologue along the way trying to make sense of it all, this of course leaves the player to open interpretations of what the character means and if it is as simple as exploring a ruin surrounded by darkness.

The level design is nice despite it being a simple corridor and there is a great particle fire effect on the torch and there are nice lighting effects too , the atmospheric sounds are also really good and really immerse you into the character and his story .

The only minor complaint is that sometimes the background ambience drowns out the narration , also where the character monologues " ill show them ...i'm not crazy" ( about 5 min 4 sec into my video) you hear a mouse click where the audio is meant to of cut off  but didn't . All in all a very interesting walking simulator, i left my thoughts at the end of the video.
