Hello! I'm running Asset Forge on a Chromebook (Crostini - Debian) and surprisingly it runs really well! But unfortunaly when I try to save, Asset Forge crashes and does not saves my projects. Here is the stack:

Is it a platform's limitation?

This looks to be a platform limitation indeed, it seems like it isn't able to open the save dialog which probably means the platform (OS) you're using doesn't have a file browser built-in or uses one that is incompatible. Since it's a bit of an obscure platform and we don't claim to support it I feel like you're entitled to a refund, if you'd like. Let me know!

Don't worry, I really liked Asset Forge, so i'm going to keep it and use it on my PC (or maybe thinking in some solution for this, but I know that I'm on my own now). Thanks for the help!

Running into the exact same issue on my Chromebook (crostini) Asset Forge runs totally fine , until i want the save/ export. Already any solotion? I would love to use Asset Forge on my Chromebook because it is a very nice combo with Godot, which runs great on my Chromebook. Please ...... :-) (BTW Asset Forge runs very well on my windows PC, but i just like to use it on a cromebook :-) )

BTW Asset forge version 1.3 does not seem to have this problem as it does not use an external/system file browser when saving/exporting AF 1.3  seems to use  a build in file browser ... would the use of the internal File browser like in AF 1.3  be possible for AF2 or AF3? Would solve the issue I suppose...
