Hey there! We are MiSou games. We are a game dev team founded by me,  Mipzy, the programmer and Soulty, my girlfriend and our main artist. Together with our friends Ozi, a freelancer artist, Gina an upcoming musical genius and Mordi who's an absolute madman of a composer, joined together to create our first game Towertale.

We aim to make games that has meaning. Games that make you feel. Most games these days are made with the intent of catering to "Sins", we aim to make games that is, not only fun, but also can teach you important things. We hope you follow us on our game dev journey to create awesome soulful games. :D

Hello! My name is Jerry. The games I make are horror games. One reason for this is that I am usually able to make the player feel paranoid in-game, when in reality it's just the tense atmosphere in the game. I'm also able to create mysterious and interesting storylines, in which the player wants to know more about. I am also good at drawing, but I draw in my own style. My first game engines consisted of Scratch,  and then GameMaker Studio for a while. I currently use Clickteam Fusion 2.5. I have also created small test games using Unity.

I was, however, in a bit of a hiatus for a while, but I'm back and creating my first official game.

Hi! My name is Tamara. I have recently become a game developer. I make educational games like this The torture of physics. It was  made in twine using different pictures from all over the internet and I even painted a few myself. I am planning on making bigger games with a similar concept in Unity. I have never used it before but I hope to learn it.

Hello! My name is Misha, but I mostly go by FrivYeti online. I'm mainly a writer of RPG materials, and I joined up in part to take part in game jams, which seem like a ton of fun! So far, my only product here is "Trouble Tunes", which is a Tunnel Trolls Jam entry, but I'm planning to have more stuff up as time goes on, some free and some for sale.

Oh! This is cool! I didn't know this existed!

Ollo~! I'm Ari! Nice to meet you! I'm a hobby artist and visual novel developer who uses Ren'Py! I work by myself to produce free visual novels and otome games! I have two completed visual novels (Froot Basket Valentine, Devious) and two that are ongoing development. My largest project right now is After-Party Chemistry! I also draw all my own graphics (sprites, character art, UI), and I'm practicing drawing backgrounds... I recently started working with other developers too as their sprite artist!

Yeah! I've been working on my projects on and off during school, but now that I'm done with school, I'm super excited to just work with people and develop my projects! C:

:)

I've been a member of itch.io for quite awhile, but I guess I never properly introduced myself here, or took part of the community at all. I guess, I need to change that.

First of all, my name is Jeroen, for those who don't know how to pronounce Dutch, I'll try to explain how to pronounce my name. In Dutch the "J" is pronounced as the "Y" as in "Yes". And "oe" is pronounced as "ou" as in "you" or "oo" as in "soon". The "r" is hard to explain, but it's a bit more 'rolling'. I guess "Yeroon" can give the global idea of how to pronounce my name. I guess it's also a clear giveaway now that I'm from the Netherlands.

I'm currently in my forties, and I've been coding since I was eight. I've been using many languages such as BASIC, Pascal, BlitzBasic, Blitz3D, BlitzMax, C, C++, Lua, Python, Lua and C#. And I've also developed my own language called NIL, which I'm currently using in a very very great project (which also allows me to fine tune the language a bit more, as this shows me any flaws the language COULD still have).

To sum up a few more facts about me:

  1. Aside from coder I'm also a novel writer. My ages old novel Weniaria can be downloaded for free, but I can tell you, that was one of my first (and therefore not my best), but it did set up a basis for a lore that is sometimes a bit overwhelming for me too. Funny how things go.
  2. I like to play darts, although I haven't done it in a while, so I've gone a bit rusty. I also like to play pool (I'm not very good in it, but hey, I like to play for some fun. I don't wanna win the next world cup or something). :P
  3. I'm a former moderator of Game Jolt, that "other" indie site, and you can still find me there a lot. I've been a moderator and admin on multiple communities, though.
  4. I'm a man of contradictions. I can't stand tomatoes, but without tomato sauce my pizza is incomplete, and I do like tomato soup. You follow?
  5. Yes, I'm a man, NEVER allow my choice of avatars to fool you.
  6. I did play cabaret, or well, something like that, in the past.
  7. Another crazy fact about me: For some reason I like watching "Masha and the Bear".
  8. I drink too much coffee
  9. I've been married before. Although, I'm divorced by now, I'm still on good terms with my former wife, whom I now regard as a good friend. (So yes, I'm single).
  10. I'm an Aspie, and proud of it! It allowed me to view the world in a way I would never have been able to if I wasn't.
  11. I'm approx 1.83m tall, and I wear glasses.
  12. I have a cat named Kitty, and she's adorable

When it comes to games, I like to create puzzle games and RPGs, although I do sometimes also do a few other genres. Well, and if you wanna know more about me.... Just ask.... I never promise an answer, but asking can't hurt, right?

Hi everyone, I am Jannik, 22 years old and a gamedev from the far north of Germany!

I've been developing games for a few years now, and am currently working as a tutor for gamedev/game design at my university! Crash Bandicoot is one of my biggest inspirations when developing games, and I absolutely adore PSX-graphics! I love doing everything in a project by myself, but I've released a few games with a good friend of mine aswell! We just released one of our biggest projects yet, but I can already feel the itch to jump right into developing the next game.

I also play a lot of different instruments (piano, uke, harmonica, etc...) and like to make music on my computer. One of my biggest obsessions has been Dungeons & Dragons currently, and I'm writing this just before heading off to our session today :D

I'd love to get to know more fellow gamedevs, so we can share our excitement about our journey!

I am keemosab, I actually prefer Keemo,  I grew up watching the Lone Ranger, Daniel Boone, and all thosecool cartoons, I am a partof the first TV  generation.  I also get to claim babyboomer status. So I've always wanted to make games always have spiffy ideas and what have you. However I have discovered that while I've never had a day of life with telavision, I never had a computer untill the late 80's -the good ole double 5.25 floppy, and 256  bytes of ram was super impressive! (who'd bite a ram 256 rtimes?) and I still have 400 meg hard drives. Ah the good old days of 3 inch floppies quickly pushed the 5.25 into the same place 8 track players pushed 4 tracks into. I watched the premier of the originial Batman, seen all the greatest Disney movies, saw Sonny and Cher sit on the shoulder of a big gorilla singing "I got you babe". Lived thru the Cold War.-California's earthquakes in the 60's; watched as Neil Armstrong made a small step for Man, yet a big one for Mankind. I could go on but nobody cares, I don't know how to make a game. So here's to learning something new once again.

Hello people, I am Colin. I have a degree in Computer Game Development. While at Uni put out some free games with friends but have not been able to for a while. It has been a few years but I have started being able to get back into making games in my spare time. I am learning unity and have a good understanding of game design and what I want to do. Through work I have learned how to lead teams and also deal with critical problems so I am no stranger to things not working for a while.

My goal is to make games my full time job and be my own boss.

Good day Community, I'm Chris. just got ase, love it!

hi, i am ali. i make games using unity recently i am working on making and learning multiplayer games using photon engine. i mostly am focused on 3D games but nowadays i am learning 2D game development as well. i have just starting game development so my games are not so great. anyways that is me.

i am looking for some friends in the game development field it really hard to find friends like that.

I've been on this site for a bit, so this introduction is a bit overdue lol.

Sup, I'm Giapet. That isn't my real name, but I just prefer to say it over my real name for privacy reasons. It is my dream to become a game developer someday. Currently, I use the Clickteam Fusion 2.5 software to make my games, and ever since 2014 I've been learning. Game development isn't my only skill. I also make music and art. So yeah, all the games I've released so far have been made by myself from the ground up in Fusion.

To be frank, Scott Cawthon is my hero. Ever since I learned about his story and how he became successful, he made me realize that making games is what I wanna do for a living. Now, I am working hard to reach that dream, and I hope to reach it someday.

I hope I can produce games that all of you can enjoy!

Hello everyone! I'm Gabriele and I make small indie games in my (little) free time..

I am currently working on a puzzle game using the MonoGame framework.
