So, uh... will there be any keyboard support for gamepad-less gamers?

I pressed nearly every single key on my keyboard and still couldn't navigate through the menu. It was really strange to find J (or K or L, one of those) to be "cancel" and Space Bar to be "select." But there are no instructions anywhere: not on this page, not in any nonexistent Readme, and most ironically of all, not in the game itself... and the game's been out for literally over two years.

I don't understand game design concepts like this. You can always fit at least 3 players on one keyboard with configurable keys.

Hi, thanks for checking out EleMetals. The Tutorial runs you through how to play, and displays the keys during the tutorial as well as the Options screens. This game was designed from day one with controllers as the main input, though we do support one player on the keyboard. We found more than one player on the keyboard to be uncomfortable for this game, and made that design decision early on. Have a great day!

Okay, but I could not even see/reach any tutorial. Do I have to keep mashing Space Bar or something to reach it? Neither arrow keys nor WASD worked in the main menu which was my biggest concern. If it's at the start of action, I'll have to wait for access to a gamepad.

Gotcha, understandable. WASD move the menu, though you have to press them for a moment on interface, and Spacebar will activate. As it states in the description, the main game REQUIRES 2+ players, so you will need a gamepad to play the full game, as we only support a single keyboard player. You can also download Parsec, and have your friends join your game remotely. Thanks!

Purchased this game in the itch.io Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality. So it NEED's a XBox controller to play it? Are there other controller's/game pad's that are supported? Would love to see keyboard/mouse support added at some point (hopefully). The YouTube video makes this look like a really cool game. Best wishes.

Hey thanks for checking it out! We also support Dualshock, and there is keyboard support for one player, though you’ll NEED 2-4 players to play the game - controls are located in the Tutorial and Options screen.

I can't get my dualshock to work, even with x360ce.
