Just that. It says that the page has a malware. Probably a false positive, but you may want to know this.
EDIT: Seems like it is fixed now

I got the same thing using Avast.

I will look into that. Thanks for the heads-up.

Avast tells me the specific file throwing the flag is Windows\game.jarlcom\zarkonnen\airships\AGame.class. Hope that helps!

Developer

Is this the built-in antivirus in Windows or some other product? I will have a look.

AVG is reporting an issue here...

I had the same problem stopping my download, Avast let me download now but if I scan after extracting it still says Windows\game.jarlcom\zarkonnen\airships\AGame.class has Java:Malcode [Trj] in it.

Had the same issue, Avast stopped the download because of malware java:malcode (trj).

I am having the same issue with AVG as well

I'll second that AVG blocked my download. Scared me too, I wasn't paying attention.

Same Here!!

+1 same issue

Yep same issue.

I am having an issue as well.  I use OpenDNS and it catches as Malware as well.  Know you are looking into it, just wanted to add

Hey guys did the dev actually updated the files? Afraid to install this with a malware in it..

I downloaded it last night and did not get a malware warning like I did before, so I think he fixed it.

I don't know if you fixed something or if Avast sorted itself out, but I was able to download with no issues last night. Thanks!

Same here

Same. Using Avast.

Same here tried it three different times today.

I've been able to reproduce this problem using Avast and have reported it to them.

Does this software have a trojan?

Hello! I just tried downloading Airships: Conquer the Skies today from itch.io and Avast gave me the error prompt
"We've safely aborted the connection on www.zarkonnen.com because it was infected with Java:Malcode [Trj]"

As for Avast and AVG being reported as showing the same errors, I'm fairly certain they're owned by the same company.

I see mention that the problem has been reported to Avast. What's tripping the virus-scanners to behave this way towards the file?

I see people talking about a fix but I just downloaded it and I'm having the same problem with antivirus flagging files as trojan (same files as previous reports)
I want to ignore the alert and play the game but I'm not 100% confident. What should I do ?
Edit : I went ahead and looked for the game's discord, people were very helpful and explained that it was the antivirus over reacting. Ignored the warning and extracted the files without any issue and I was able to play the game without errors or inconveniences.
