Card Fighters! The logic/strategic/fighting/card Game!

Friday, before the game-jam.

There is like a 4 hours before the game-jam starts. I think, it would be nice, to make some logic/strategic/fighting/card game. I'm starting to make some card-game scripts, becose i dont now nothing abount making card games, so if i want to make one, i definitly have to learn card-games.

Friday, Game-Jam!

Welp, the Game-Jam started! First, i'm making a new project! I'm remixing some of my card-game scripts, and that do not work. I spend some time at fixing it, and making some working prototype. Later, i'm starting to make some graphics in piskel, and them work a little bit like this:

Now, i can start with doing some first level. It looks kinda like this:


Then i spend some time on mine menu, that looks kinda cool, and some time on how-to-play section(a lot of time. Seriusly, like most of the time.

Saturday:

Welp, its saturday! Today i'm not working much. I'm made fev more levels, some music, and kinda fit game in the theme" "Pack". I'm made some pack of cards, at the begining of main-menu. Welp, that works! Later, i made some levels sick-looking tranzitions, and make music dont restart on level load. At the end of the day, i made kinda working pvp-mode.

Sunday:

Welp, its SUNDAY! Today i'm dont working much either. At begining of the day, i made more levels, that looks kinda like this:

Later, i deleted the pvp-mode, becose that dont work properly. I gonna work with it after game-jam. I added some little graphics changes, so now it's look kinda bedder. I dont have much more idea's, so i gona make fev more levels, and sumbit the game.

Mondey:

Before monday, my game was the most popular game-jam game, but now, it felt down a little bit. I'm a student, and i have lesons today, so i can not work with game today, but i'm kinda proud of my-self, i mde that game in time. I think i gonna upgrade it later. Card Fighters!

I like the graphics, animations and music a lot. I cant seem to get a hang of the gameplay yet though. I dont know if I lose or win and the cards dont allways seem to do what I understand they should do. Maybe its just me, I'll play it a few more times later to see if I get the hang of it.

I noticed a few minor details that could help to polish the game a little. I know this is a jam game, so keep in mind that this are very small details that almost dont affect the experience, so in a tight schedule they shouldnt be priorities. 

-Between your splash screen and the main menu you can see unity's default blue background. As your game doesnt have that color it stands out a little.

-While playing the game, I pressed the top right button to maybe open an options or pause menu, but it took me directly to de main menu and I lost my progres :(

-In the "how to play" menu, the arrows cycle through all the pages, it takes you from the last page to the first making it look like theres a lot to read. Maybe you could disable the right arrow when you are at the end of the instructions.

And thats it, the game looks really good and the idea is very interesting. I'm looking forward to play the story mode! I hope my comments were helpfull.

Thanks for feedback! I actually published version that fix the blue screen thing! Nice idea with that arrow do, a lot of peaple told me it's a lot to read, so that should fix that. Thank you for feedback! :)
