Character pulls to the left upon starting tutorial.

Not sure what's going on but when I first start the game, everything is fine. I can move unhindered in all directions. However when I click to start the tutorial my character runs left and just keeps running until he hits the white ring and still proceeds to run against it.

I've reinstalled the game. I've even unplugged the controller and plugged it back in making sure to not touch the sticks so they're centered.

Hey Nanobytez,

The Tutorial survivor for the little walk before the camp receives inputs from all devices, if you have another controller connected which is moving left or if something is pressing the A key on the keyboard it will affect it.

Hope this helps, if not lets try and get to the bottom of it.

Thanks for the feedback and support,

Rafi

The controller is the only device plugged in and there's nothing on the keyboard. :(

Developer

Can you try not connecting the controller till you arrive at the base then when he says join in you can plug in the controller, please let me know if its still doing this or if the problem is only with the tutorial survivor.

Thanks for the feedback,

Rafi

Still does it, keyboard and mouse work just fine though. :( I'd really like to play with the controller but if I must I can use keyboard and mouse.

My system is a Windows 8.1 using an Xbox One Controller via Xbox Wireless Adapter.

Developer

Hey Nanobytez,

I currently dont have an Xbox One Controller to test out but I'll look into what is causing the problem, hopefully its not a problem with your controller or adapter. Is it possible to connect the controller without the adapter? Just to try and rule out the source of the problem.

Thanks for the feedback, hope to help you out soon,

Rafi

The black Xbox One controller won't work without the adapter. It's just weird that it works before the tutorial but in the tutorial it goes all weird. :(

Developer

Hey Nanobytez,

Sorry about the problems you're having, I'll make sure to purchase a xbox one controller and make sure that everything is working as it should as soon as possible,

Stay Tuned!

Rafi

It's ok, it's just a minor inconvenience, nothing major. If you do seek to purchase the older Xbox One controllers require an "Xbox Wireless Adapter" for them to work on PC.

Developer

Do you think the problem could be with the adapter? Does it work with other games?

make sure you use an application in order to sync the controller, for PS4 controllers use DS4Windows etc.

Hope this helped

Hey,

You actually shouldn't use an application for the PS4 controller, it should work without it

Rafi

for me it didn't, as soon as i synced it with an application it worked :)
