Broken family, dead family, and a sense of building sorrow. All wrapped up in a clearly twisted game with evil and good and a judgemental forest, and this game just hits me. It's like I recognize myself in the character's emotions. Being young and inbetween fighting and death and being too scared to sleep at night because of creatures lurking. It's sad, it's scary, but what makes it so is that it's real. This fear? It's real. And that just makes the experience so much more.
