A small little RPGmaker game about a lonely girl with a connection to another world that she sees in her dreams. · By temmie
I use Linux and in order to run Windows games, I use WINE (WINE Is Not an Emulator). The game starts up just fine, there's just one issue, it hasn't loaded so far. If there is an explanation, I'd like to hear about it.
I'm on Ubuntu
Yeah, the methods I described in the thread should be working on Ubuntu too. Are you having issues with these two approaches?
Game works without problems on Proton via Lutris.
You can run the game without Wine on Linux (works with Dweller's Empty Path too)
btw, i'm currently working on a Flatpak for Escaped Chasm, once it's ready I'll ask tem if she wants to publish it as well as release a .patch to the game folder to build the flatpak yourself
Lo and behold: the diff! Follow the instructions and you should get your very own Escaped Chasm Flatpak!
