Okay so im public build 0.15 and on Pine island, and when I go south from where the pirate ship lands and i see a broken bridge so when i click the space between it says "The gap is too big to jump, maybe you could push that rock into the water and use it as a platform" so I go and click on said rock next to the gap but nothing happens, am I missing something or what?

-A very confused player

Developer

You need to go to the left side of the rock and press the interaction button to move it. It's changed in the patreon version to just move button because I get this comment 1 a week XD.

Oh my god, I Feel so dumb thank you for the help lol.

-A No Longer confused player

Trying to find Skunky Punk for one of the scenes on Pine Island, but I can't see him anywhere? Did I miss something?

He's in the bar in Shiptown, the guy who gives you the Biker Jacket.

Help, I don't know how to put on my swimsuit, can someone explain it to me?

Wear "speedo" in blue rabbit (your main character)

I don't have a bathing suit, what do I do?

(+1)

You can find a speedo in the chest at the beach on the Western Island. There's another chest containing one at the beach on Pine Island (where you can jump into the water) and at Piratetown. If you already got a speedo in your inventory, those chests will contain some gold instead.

I stuck at the rock oasis help me!!

If you're playing the public build (0.15), that's where the story ends for now.

So, for the healing Scepter, how many times do you have to make potions for it to upgrade?

Developer (1 edit)

I think it's 50 for brews and 100 for elixirs, so there's lots to grind. Also, everything counts as one so you don't need to make 50 HP potions to get HP brews, you can use whatever you like and need.

(+2)

Thank you! I actually grinded past 100 last night 🤣

Hey, I just wanted to say that for all my years browsing itch.io and playing furry games, including huge projects like fenoxo's coc 1 and 2, TiTS, other other numerous rpg's, this one is honestly by far the one I've mostly been enthralled with.  As soon as I picked it up I haven't been able to put it back down, I can tell that you poured love and dedication into this and quite frankly it's simply my favorite.

It's not even just the NSFW aspect, as great as that is there's so much more to this game, the story is interesting and the characters are so well-written that I actually go out of my way to see all of the dialog, the combat isn't repetative and your companions each have their own unique uses that really inspire me to actually grind when needed and repeat the dungeons.

I wouldn't have been surprised if you were a fan of Toby Fox's Undertale and Deltarune because I get very similar vibes, the well-placed comedy and lovable personalities of the characters seem very well thought-out and really my only regret is not being able to afford the patreon version so I can play more when I eventually finish all the content that's currently available publicly.

Thank you for creating this amazing experience!

Developer

Thanks for the nice comment, it brightened up my day. Yeah, I think Undertale was very influential to my game design philosophy.

The next public build is set to release on November 3rd!

Hi,
How do I defeat Shade in the Beach's Cave?

Use the Adventurer's ACT "Grope Groin" first, and then "Join Pirates"

So I finished all of the available content, or at least I think I did, the only thing I'm curious about is if there's actually a water dungeon yet or not. I know you can't use the sphere, but if there's a dungeon I'll happily go look for it!

Once the next public version drops I hope I can transfer my save date to it, im playing on mobile through joiplay so I'm not entirely sure how I would do so, but I'm hoping I can figure it out.

Developer

Usually save swaps aren't successful because there are too many changes.

Water dungeon is still under development, but in the next Patreon version you're able to enter it and battle a new enemy there.

After trying to leave Pine Island I just stack on the ship, Is there any way how to fix that?

Developer

Did you do all the quests on the ship? You should be able to leave once the story part and quests are done.

He's in the bar at shiptown

How do I find the pink dragon? I've searched all over the map and I can't find him. Is he the potions guy? Or is it a different dragon? Idk I want to get the last scene unlocked at the gloryhole.

He first appears on the top floor of the town hall in Safen. You have to pick up the lewd guestbook on the table, and then talk to the pink dragon, and say that he's gay. Then he will appear at the Bangers club in the Gloomy Forest, same procedure. Then he appears at the Western Island beach, same thing here. Then there's a random chance he'll be at the glory hole, when the number above the right door is a 4, it's him.

Im stuck with Wulfirc toy quest, where i can find to other toy ?

Developer

They're not all in the game yet! Some quests are not complete yet.

Hey, How can I defeat the "lava king" or something like that in the lava dungeon?

I assume you're talking about Magano? Use the ACT "Think...", then "Small Flirt", then "Medium Flirt", and then "Big Flirt". After that, his defense will go down, and you can easily defeat him. Preferably with water damage, as that'll have way more of an effect.

I'm on the pirate ship searching for the food ingredients. I've found all of them except for the spaghetti. I've searched every area and done my best to click on everything I can find, but I just can't locate it. Where is it?

There you go

Okay, thanks!

Hi, I'm on Pine (?) Island where I'm supposed to be "collecting" the guys I run into there. I've been using the battle commands to get their attention and all that, but apart from "End Battle" I can't otherwise seem to get them to where they need to be? They vanish from the map but reappear when I return to their spot. I'm sure I must be doing something wrong, what should I do?

P.S. I seriously want to kiss Wulfrick and quite a few of these characters, I hope I get to soon. ;)

Did you open the gate in the base? The one that requires you to wear something that boosts your SEXY stat? They all show up there after you defeated them properly once, meaning after you got the "[Character X] will now show up in the base now" message during battle. If you got the "End Battle" option, that means you've done everything correct, the only exception is Agitated Guy (the white lizard dude), who you still have to defeat normally after you got the message, and Skunky Hunk, who's in the bar in Shiptown (you need to open the gate of the base on Pine Island before you can talk to him). After that, they all show up in the base, even though they keep appearing on the map as enemies. This is simply so you can still farm them for stuff.

Thanks! I got it now. Already got in the gate but turned out I had gotten the battles wrong. 😂

Well, I had first downloaded the game just a few days ago, looks like I just reached the end of the road for now with the story...

[SPOILERS: You-know-who's dad basically telling a large henchman to "sick em"]

...so now I'll be waiting for the game to be continued. I'm hoping that with my getting the game so recently it will be possible to somehow transfer my saved game over to the update?

Looking forward to the update, cool job. :)

Unfortunately, RPGMaker is a fickle thing that doesn't like it when newer scripts are added to older save files. The reason each update comes with some prepackaged save files is because one can never know if/what kinda glitches or bugs may occur if you use save files from a previous version. It might be completely fine, or certain new things won't even appear in the game at all. Here's an example when I first started playing, when I downloaded a newer version, the Fire Dungeon got it's underwater section, but somehow I wasn't able to enter the water. Turned out it was because I was using an older save file, that didn't have that section yet. The preset save files all come with decently leveled characters though, you got a lot of gold, and each item available in the game's in your inventory at least once, plus in the Patreon version you can use the ID machine in the Gloomy Forest to change the Adventurer's name to what you were using before. And all the things/quests that can be done/unlocked in the game up to this point has already been done in the save files, so you shouldn't feel like you're losing any progress if you use them.

i see what you mean, that does all make sense. It sounds like I might have to reinstall it all over again "fresh" (uninstalling/deleting the original and then downloading the new version) as opposed to simply copying over the existing files to update it (please feel free to connect me if I'm wrong regarding this). I did indeed finally succeed in installing it successfully on my steam deck and it runs wonderfully on it, I just can't help thinking, "Oh no, not again". 😂 Here's hoping I'm just as successful the second time.

By the way,  I was thinking just last night about the possibility of my maybe creating some online comic strip style stories with some of these characters created for your game, not for profit, but just for the enjoyment of it. I don't know whether I'll have time to do it but I thought about the possibility, and wanted to ask if that was alright with you on your end. ;)

Looking forward to the update, and thanks for your help. :)

I always delete the older version entirely and replace it with the new one, I'm not sure what would happen if you copy-pasted the newer files over the old ones tbh. The save files are stored within the actual game folder, in "Small on Top/www/save", if that's what you're looking for. You can copy-paste the content of the save-folder into the new one, as long as it's the same version of the game there shouldn't be any problems.

I'm not the developer of the game, I'm 'just' the guy who beta-tests all the update before release, creates the prepackaged save files, and writes/updates the walkthrough. However, Spedumon does have a channel for fan art in his server, so I doubt he's opposed to it, as long as you credit him. But you can always ask him personally, the link to his server is right here on the game's front page

Developer

If you're interested, I've already created a comic loosely based on my game. I think I 've made 130+ pages of it already.

https://www.furaffinity.net/gallery/spedumon/folder/912786/Small-On-Top-Comics

I have a folder for them here.

Oh yea, I definitely enjoy those. :) I was wondering if you might also enjoy it if I were to possibly create some cartoons of your characters on my end? I might not have enough time for anything elaborate, but if I do I might if that's okay with you. ;)

Developer

As long as it's not commercial it's fine with me (you don't sell them)

Don't worry, I never sell any of my cartoons (I've learned long ago that it makes it feel like work and saps all the enjoyment out of creating for me. I hate getting paid to create). Rather, I instead always encourage those who want to give me money for them to instead use it to make a donation to their fave charity. ;)

I believe the other fellow above mentioned that you might have a spot on here somewhere for them or something? If so, I can always put whatever I create there.

Slime Merchant.

Talking about "Slime Goo"

I got the feeling that I needed to sell him a certain amount of Slime Goo. I've already sold 25 of them, but nothing happened.

Is there any point in selling him more or not?

If so, how many should I sell?

There is no point to it. When the game was still young, this was just to let you know that you can make some money off that slime. However, nowadays you really shouldn't sell your slime goo anymore, as you'll need plenty of that later for crafting to unlock an optional NPC for sexy fun times.

Thank you for your reply
