Nintendo Pro Controller Issues on Mac

Hi! I tried a few things now to get the Nintendo Pro Controller working with this game properly, but it just doesn't work. The controller is shown as "Unknown Pro Controller" and everything works, apart from the sticks :-(

Anyway to get this working?

Same problem, just doesn't recognize the joysticks. I can play with the D-pad though, is that how it's meant to be played? No joysticks?

Unfortunately, there are some issues between the Unity Engine and the pro controller. I haven't been able to get it to work myself.

Steam interferes with Nintendo Switch Pro Controller input - so maybe try 2 things:

1. Close Steam before running the game.

2. Add the EXE as a Non-Steam game to Steam and boot through Big Picture mode. If you go to controller settings, you can turn on Switch Pro Controller Configuration, which will trick A Short Hike into think it's an xbox controller.

Your workaround #2 with loading it as a non-steam game in steam also worked with my Nintendo Switch Pro Controller on Windows. Thanks! Can't wait to get playing :)
