Question about interactive audio / layered music in Bitsy

Hi everyone! I'm currently developing a narrative game in Bitsy for my portfolio project, and I'm trying to design a specific audio mechanic.

I would like to have a chill background music loop playing continuously in a room, and when the player interacts with specific objects (sprites/items), it triggers melodic sounds that layer on top of the background track, building up a full soundscape before they can exit the scene.

Is there a known hack, plugin, or custom JavaScript / Web Audio API approach that allows superposing or layering audio dynamically in Bitsy ?

Thanks a lot for your help and ideas!

Maybe someone else will have a better method, but I feel like you could do this with the bitsymuse hack by having a set room background track and then calling a long sound track as a sound effect. I'm not sure if it would support multiple sounds being layered with the hack as is, but if you played around with it, it seems like it should be possible?

It's a cool idea, I hope you are able to find a way to make it work!
