I decided to make a part 2 to this, because I just had a LOT more things to suggest about the game. There will probably be a part 3 and maybe 4. Okay! Lets get into this.

I've seen a lot of suggestions about armor in the game, but let me ask you this: Wouldn't that ruin the feel of Clone Drone? The game is about you dodging enemy attacks and trying to kill them at the same time. It's not about being able to take every single hit and still stand while you pick off the remaining Hammer-bots. But then I thought, "Armor would actually be pretty cool." Earlier today I posted some weapon ideas and upgrades and I had the idea of being protected by a one use shield for the hammer. It's armor, but it doesn't take every single hit. Just one. But what if armor protected you in a different way? What if it protected you... by changing the arena itself.

So let's start with the list. Every type of armor has an upgraded version (Comes after the normal one). In the previous post I mentioned a cosmetic store and these armors could go there.

-Elemental Armors

  • Flame Armor - Saws and spikes are made of fire. These don't affect the player, either.
  • Burst Armor - Saws and spikes are made of lava. Jets shoot out lava, too. The player is immune to all fire (not lava).
  • Droplet Armor - It is raining in the arena. Traps don't activate for the player and jets are broken.
  • Flood Armor - It is storming in the arena. Enemies have a chance to be struck by lighting. This stuns them for 5 seconds. Enemies near an electrocuted enemy also get electrocuted.
  • Rock Armor - When an enemy is hit with a hammer, the ground shakes, knocking over nearby enemies.
  • Boulder Armor - When an enemy is hit with a hammer and doesn't die, a boulder comes and smashes it and any others in its line-of-sight.
  • Wind Armor - The arena is windy. Arrows that would hit the player have a chance to swerve and miss.
  • Tornado Armor - The arena is windy and a tornado is visible somewhere outside of the arena. Arrows that would hit the player have a chance to swerve back and hit the shooter.
  • EARNED IN A CHALLENGE- Void Armor - No gravity and all jet packs are broken (not the player's).

-Enemy Armor

Note: These armors are unlocked by killing a certain number of some kind of enemy. The second version is unlocked normally.

  • Mark 1 Swordsman Armor - If the last enemy is a Swordsman, the crowd would throw swords at it to try to kill it.
  • Mark 4 Swordsman Armor - If the first enemy killed is a Swordsman, the crowd will throw swords at the last enemy to try to kill it, no matter what it is.
  • Mark 1 Archer Armor - If the last enemy is an Archer, the crowd would shoot arrows at it to try to kill it.
  • Mark 4 Archer Armor - If the first enemy killed is an Archer, the crowd would shoot arrows at the last enemy to try to kill it, no matter what it is.
  • Mark 1 Hammer Bot Armor - If the last enemy is a Hammer Bot, the crowd would throw hammers at it to try to kill it.
  • Mark 4 Hammer Bot Armor - If the first enemy killed is a Hammer Bot, the crowd would throw hammers at the last enemy to try to kill it, no matter what it is.
  • Spidertron 5000 Armor - If all Spidertrons are killed (they must be killed by the player), then small spiders will come out of under the arena and distract the remaining enemies.
  • Spidertron 6000 Armor - If all Spidertrons are killed, then small spiders will come out of under the arena and distract and slowly eat the remaining enemies.
  • EARNED IN A CHALLENGE - Analysis Bot Armor - Analysis Bot will tell you all of the enemies in the level, how many of each enemy, and distinct features about the level.
  • EARNED IN A CHALLENGE - Commentatron Armor - The player can scan an enemy, and Commentatron will give information about said enemy.
  • EARNED IN A CHALLENGE - Emperor Armor - Combined effects of Analysis Bot Armor and Commentatron Armor. The Emperor is in your favor and has a 25% chance to lower the enemy count by 1 or 2.

-Hero Armor

  • Knight's Armor - Near the end of the battle, one of the Swordsmen will change sides and fight against the enemies.
  • EARNED IN A CHALLENGE - Warrior's Armor - Near the beginning of the battle, one of the Swordsmen will change sides and fight against the enemies.
  • Hunter's Armor - Near the end of the battle, one of the Archers will change sides and fight against the enemies.
  • EARNED IN A CHALLENGE - Sniper's Armor - Near the beginning of the battle, one of the Archers will change sides and fight against the enemies.
  • Gladiator Armor - Near the end of the battle, one of the Hammer Bots will change sides and fight against the enemies.
  • EARNED IN A CHALLENGE - Destroyer's Armor - Near the beginning of the battle, one of the Hammer Bots will change sides and fight against the enemies.
  • EARNED IN A CHALLENGE - Hero's Armor - Starting at Gold stages, there is a 10% chance of a hostage in the arena. If you save and protect the hostage for most of the round, you are given a free clone.

-Miscellaneous Armor

  • Hardcore Armor - Makes the game harder. All Mark 1 enemies become Mark 2 and all enemies have an Attacker I pet.
  • RAGE MODE ARMOR - Makes the game almost impossible. All enemies become Mark 4 and have Attacker III pets. All Spidertron 5000's become 6000's.
