[Voice acting] Offering an authentic Cornish Pirate voice

I am a rare thing I think, a real Cornishman with the real accent so commonly abused in pirate films and games.
(We are so rare we don't even have an emoji flag for Cornwall !)

If you would like a pirate voice that does not sound like a weird half-Irish, half-Scottish nomad, then perhaps I can help you.
My voice is normally heard on Cornish radio or reciting poetry, but I would like to have some fun with game projects where I am not editing maps or designing weapons, so thought I would offer the use of my genuine Cornish voice.

The other advantage of a real Cornishman that grew up in a traditional fishing village, is I can you tell if the dialogue does not work, and help with fixing it.

I have access to a studio I can use for free, so am happy to work for free projects or commercial.

I can't describe why I love this post so much, but I'd sincerely love to see any game that comes out of this.

Hehe, glad you like it.

I would just like to hear some pirates in games that don't make me cringe.
People that don't have the real old south-west accent don't realise they all sound a bit weird.

Or perhaps I should have said;

Hoho, proper 'ansome.

I be sick to the gunnels hearin' them landlubbers flappin' their jaws. Is enough to make a man chuck his lunch.
Them's that don't speak proper, do sound like some bleddy fools.
