This is a tool I'm working on on my spare time to convert Bitsy scripts into various output formats.

For now (version 0.0.1), it only converts to JSON, which is already useful if you intend to export your project to be used with other tools. More formats will come later.

All you have to do is paste the script on the left panel, and the converted result will be displayed on the right panel.

Future implementations: while it only outputs JSON, for now, this tool is intended to convert the scripts into formats compatible with various programming languages/libraries, like, say, generating Arduboy-Compatible source, curses-compatible C source, or Batari Basic compatible BB source, and so on.

Hello, again,

Version 0.5.0 is now available; it can now generate Arduboy-compatible C++ code. Still a work in progress, though; at the moment, you can walk around the first room.

Version 0.6.0 has been released:

  • Player now collides with the background;
  • Player can interact with sprites;
  • Only very simple dialogs are supported; no variables, nor conditionals.

Hello, again!

Version 0.8.0 has been released, with various improvements on Arduboy code generation:

Version 0.8.0 (this one):

  • Exits implemented;
  • Corrected a few bugs related to PROGMEM.

Version 0.7.0:

  • Take into consideration whether a backgroud tile is solid or not when checking for collision;
  • Tile animation is now working;
  • Dialog strings are now stored on flash memory.

Hello, again!

Version 0.9.0 is now available; it contains improvements on Arduboy code generation:

* Title screen is now functional;
* Support for endings
