A way to clear out recommendations from played/downloaded games?

Hello there.

So I have been on itch.io for a few months now and I've noticed that the website shows you a recommended list of games based on what you've played/downloaded on the website, which is a great feature to help people discover new games based on their interests. However I sometimes like to explore and wander around on itch.io, trying out games from time to time just for the sake of seeing what they're all about without necessarily ending up having more interest in them or their tags after being done checking them out. Yet those tags and the games related to them end up in my recommendations list although I know I'm not gonna be interested in them, and it just kinda bugs me to see them here without being offered a choice to dismiss them. I do believe I could eventually hide the games individually but I really don't feel like that'd be the proper solution in that specific case. I know I could also ignore those games and tags, but again, I don't feel like that's an appropriate solution.

This is pretty much why I would very much like to see an option to dismiss certain tags, games, or even clear out the recommendations list as a whole on itch.io, I really feel like a feature such as this one would be welcomed to a lot of people who might be in the same situation. I do think that what one wants to see in their list of recommended games should be left up to the user, a bit like on the  Steam store where you can choose to dismiss/hide games you aren't interested in from your discoveries list.

I have also done some research on the feedback forum and I did stumble upon similar threads, but those either weren't really covering that exact topic or simply were left with no answer from anyone. I am not the first one to give feedback on the matter, but I still feel like it deserves more attention then what it has been given so far.

Many thanks to anyone considering that feedback/idea, and anyone willing to take the time to read and answer this thread.
