Orbis - Tiny Grand Strategy

Hi!

I'm publishing today my prototype inspired by Paradox Interactive's Grand Strategy games.

Like in Victoria 3 or Europa Universalis V, I'm focusing on population as the core of everything: pops eat, migrate and work.

Their work then produce goods which are in turn used by population and buildings.

The goal is to automate most of the calculations and give players some levers to influence the simulation.

I would be happy to receive feedback from anyone playing the game, be it bug reports, balance issues or design suggestions!

Hi!

I just released version 0.3 of Orbis. The biggest addition is a comprehensive tutorial system (11 missions) designed to make the simulation's complexity actually understandable for new players.

I’ve also focused on making the game a real "playable" experience, you can now play a session from 10 minutes to an hour and see the world react dynamically to your choices without critical bugs (hopefully).
