Hello Guys,

I just uploaded a playable build of my new project, Alien Space Shooter, to itch.io. It’s a fast-paced arcade space shooter where you are a UFO pilot traveling through hostile territory, managing your resources while dodging obstacles and enemies.

Now, I know it's just basic and not too many features are here. Regardless of this, I am thinking of giving this some time and adding other features like a shop, different UFOs or characters, and also a health bar and some other things too, but I really need your suggestions. I have some questions in mind:

Can this work? Is it a good game? Is it addictive? And most importantly, can I do some marketing after doing some work on it?

So please play it and give me your honest review. I am basically planning to make it only for mobile, but this is also working for PC too.

Good game overall !
I would suggest you to add an hit indicator, it could be simple color flash. Because i'm not sure to hit the planet, and it is even more disturbing for the boss, i wasn't sure to be able to beat it. Plus the bullets disappear a bit far from the boss (like if the sprite have some border).

Also about the UI i would integrate more level, heat, fuel, score who seems a bit far and like outside the game.

But really nice project, keep up the good work :)

The shooting feel of the game is quite good, especially the explosions. Keep up the great work.

However, I think the shooting mechanics could be improved:

There is an issue with continuous firing. It would be better if holding down the fire button allowed the ship to shoot continuously, rather than requiring one press per shot. Since players need to control the ship’s movement while firing at the same time, not having a hold-to-fire option can feel very frustrating.
