I read a tutorial for New Horizons, but it doesnt seem to work for Eras II. How can we add a new player character and officers to Eras? 

There seem to be various models that are not used in the game. I want to add some officers by using those models (especially 1500s era) and adding new officers. And a few new player characters.

Also is there a way to use the textures for older models for the newer ones? There seems to be a 3-part new model (Chik), which seems to be the most advanced model as all the others are 3 parts. Is there a way to use textures of other older models for the new one, like replacing just the upper body etc?
