Advice on salaries?

Hit a point in the game where I'm not sure how to keep idols happy with their salaries without immediately going bankrupt. My group of only 18 girls wants about 11,000,000 yen a week to keep everyone just satisfied, and I'm not sure how to make enough in a week to keep up with that and other expenses. Does anyone have any advice, or do people just let them be unhappy with their salaries?

How much money are you making per single / per concert?  What's your setting for salaries on the Policies screen?

Per single, about 1,000,000 yen, and for per concert about 500,000,000 yen. I have it set to manual, because I'm afraid of setting it to automatically adjust and going bankrupt lol...

You've got a typo there somewhere...  If you're pulling down 500 million yen per concert, you shouldn't be going bankrupt...  :)

Save the game, put it on auto, and see what happens for a month or two?

I need to check the math, maybe it's not balanced well, but basically it all depends on idol's fame level and salaries of other idols. For example, they are more accepting of low salaries if you're not playing favorites and everyone is underpaid equally. Or you can try lowering salaries of your top idols to make everyone else happier.

I'm starting to wonder how the salaries are determined... With my salary policy set to "Auto: Keep idols satisfied"  I have one idol (with very high stats and 8 fame stars) pulling down over a million yen a week.  A near identical idol with 6 fame stars is being paid (literally) 5% of that.  Seems an awfully steep breakpoint...

The last couple of stars get insane pay rises, that's for sure.
