is it possible to be a patron but not pay monthly like say u want to pay a even amount to get updates early can u perhaps pay a one time fee by useing a visa debit card like a gift card if u dont want a bill sent to house one i only have a saveings account and 2 i feel better useing a prepaid debit card when buying stuff online its safeer
A different payment methode I could offer would be a donation via paypal. As far as I know prepaid debit cards should work to charge your paypal account as well, but they won't work on patreon.
The earlier update for patrons is the test version, usually just the update files, where also my gametester still have to check for bugs. It's not a full upload for every system. Just keep that in mind before paying anything. ^^ But it's also the only way to get content before the public release I guess.
Currently I post the test version only on patreon in a post that is only visible for active $5+ patrons and in the gametester channel on discord. Since patron wouldn't work for you the chatting programm discord would be necessary to get access.
so if i were to pay 5 $ flat and get discord that would work or maby we could work something out i want to make sure id be usefull first like point out missing things not mentiond in walk through give more detailed help in things that may seem difficult to some and such and details on outcomes of choices u make if a quest has a impact on things based on choice so people know what they r risking
In that case one option would be to make a subsciption (and cancel it immediately since you don't want an on-going payment) to get the reward of seeing patron-only posts for that month. Just keep in mind that it's set to charge immediately, so if you pledge in the middle of the month it's only valid for the remaining time until the next month starts.
(The same reward tier also includes full size CG previews and all old previews.)
