Europa Explorer - Non-Violent Exploration Game - Playable Alpha Build

The concept behind the game is that you are driving an underwater robotic probe exploring the ocean on the moon Europa. 

Solo dev project.  I am doing all the design, development, artwork and music. 


I have been creating devlog videos for each update so far.  

Alpha 1 was all about the probe tools

Alpha 2 covered the probes other systems

Alpha 3 is about the game world.

I did some work on the game website yesterday and have a lot of new information there,  www.EuropaExplorerGame.com

The objective is for the game to be a relaxing experience that teaches a little bit of real world science along the way.  The world begins as a completely black void and you have to reveal everything.  You use different vision modes to see a visual representation of the science data you collect about the terrain that includes, temperature, radiation, density, geology, mineralogy, chemistry, organics, and surface features.  You utilize a bunch of different science tools that are inspired by their real-world counterparts to collect data and fill out each of these vision modes.
