My Opinion/Criticisms

I played this because a friend recommended I try it out. That being said, I am not familiar with any of your previous works.

First of all, this game has an EXTREMELY similar plot to the SAW movies. Particularity, the 3rd and 5th ones. In fact, it is too similar. It feels like an exact carbon copy. It's not very original.

Plot premises aside, the gameplay for the minigames is very very laggy. It takes a long time for my character to move to where I want them to go. I'm not sure if this is a difficulty thing or a design choice, either way it's just annoying.

There is a noticeable difference between the quality of the art for the guys and the art for the girls. The clothing and shading for the boys is very well drawn while the clothing for the girls just cling to the girls figures. There are no wrinkles and look like they were just colored on. Also that pink/purplish color is very disturbing to the eye. The cg was very good though.

I understand that this is a demo, but those are the main points that rub me the wrong way.

Hey, thanks for the comments. I'm not the lead writer, but I did help shape the story a bit, and can say that I've never personally ever watched a single SAW movie. Though I can't say that kidnapping people and torturing them is super original in any case. But there's a reason themes are reused to often, they resonate!

I am however the maze programmer, and I've been hearing a lot of different sources having similar lag issues. It's hard to know where it's coming from as I only have a couple systems I can test on and they are all fine. Regardless, we are looking into reducing lag and hopefully enabling more people to experience the game as it should be.

Thanks for the feedback!
