I can't seem to get roms to load. I'll navigate over to my downloads, and all that picking a rom will do is load a blank gray/black screen, then crash the app. Any kind of navigation-to-downloads/roms instructions accompanying an answer would be great for me, considering I'm not totally sure I'm doing it right. I'm a noob, I know. That's why I came here.

And yes, I know this was already like 3 different topics. None of those answered my question, though. Also, I'm running the free not-latest version.

3dn files aren't rom files. Do you know it?

Yes. I'm attempting to load from my folder of .nes roms.

Note: Some games will load a bit of their sound (no visuals) for maybe 0.5-3 seconds, then crash the app. Someone please help me, as I am desperate.

Are you using Wine to run 3DNes? If that's so it's out of my knowledge sorry. Some people success , other fail.
