i have programming suite to making dosbox games , for dosbox-x (newer windows dosbox runing good v dosbox-x)

it is for free , commercial use include

used languages :

-- Borland Turbo Pascal 7.0

-- Turbo Assembler in code

possibly usable too >

-- Freepascal for DOS v1.0 good version

-- Netwide Assembler

Tutorial :

download these files : WORLD-2012.zip ,, WORLD-2013.zip ,, WORLD-2015.zip ,, WORLD-2017.zip ,,WORLD-2018.zip

start with WORLD-2012 - WORLD-2015

learn at once start to end to synapsis and ganglie file "lite.pas" engine , main routines

then watch cca 8 tutorial games with source codes , HOWTO

final program Multi_ED editor data formats what was used

pause a little , try example

continue with WORLD-2017 and WORLD-2018

routines inside are different a little and editors are used different version separate exe editors for data formats

WORLD-2018 have avaiable sound card Sound Blaster , 16MB RAM , graphics routines for texts and numbers and graphics

sprites , bmp and gra format , scrolling , repeating object in map , it run more processes at once , keyboard and mouse handling etc

WORLD-2018 handle 3D (not tested on any example)

a game type what is suggested is dungeon for PC with DOS (dosbox-x)

graphics - VGA 320x200 (400fps) ,, SVGA 640x400 (25fps)

all tools are for free to use for any purpose
