I am new to this whole thing but I want to promote my game for a cause, 2 weeks ago I was working in my normal job when all the sudden I felt fatigued. I worked it off the following day took the day off to relax myself for Wednesday that is the hardest day as a warehouse worker. I lasted one hr. and ended up in the E.R. I had blood clots in my lungs and heart. If I ignore the symptoms and kept working I wouldn't be here writing this message. I want to achieve my goal as a fulltime game dev just like everyone else here. I am force to resigned my job because I can't do any lifting, and I have been searching for work as a janitor or security officer. The reason why I am telling you all this because I nearly came close to death. My wife lives in the Philippines and I live in Guam my plan was and still is to go meet her on my birthday in September. But in order to go I need to pay my debts to the Philippines government because I overstayed there. It's a long story...
So I am trying to promote my game S.T.A.R.S. it's made from rpgmakermv its action base style game. with a rich story my goal is to see how many sales I can get to start with chapter 2, there are 7 chapters of the game. I also have a demo for those to play the game and see if they enjoy it so far only 3 people download the demo and you can donate as well if you download the demo.
I don't know how to promote really and yes I sound desperate because I am desperate simply because this game was out last year when I was in the Philippines. I believe my game has potential but I suck at drawing and my vision of this game out to be in 3d instead of 2d. But I am trying my best to reach out to the gaming community. I hope everyone can at least try my video game demo and donate for helping my financial situation.
