Animation Sprites (more??)

The fact that the animations only allow for 2 sprites can be A HUGE PART of this tool's charm.........really. But the human in me asks: 'Yeah, but wouldn't it be great if there could be 3 sprites for each animation?!' Also, the 'tempo' at which each sprite [everywhere] is displayed is the same for everything. If that could be staggered a bit maybe......?? So one moving animation runs at a faster or slower tempo than the other animations?

You actually can have more than two frames of animation per drawing! The visual editor won't let you create more than two, but you can edit your game data and manually add more frames. There's a super quick 'how to' in this Google doc ( https://docs.google.com/document/d/1jRz3wgkQU3kZN_LGChw4UlMWhVoc145J-euBtkr7NeE/... ), but if you need more help just ask. This can get janky if you go back to editing the sprite with the drawing tool after you add extra frames, so just be aware that you'll  need to make any future edits directly in the game data, not the visual editor.

I don't know of a way to give different drawings different animation speeds, but I have faked this a little bit by adding extra animation frames (for example, duplicating each frame to halve the speed).

Good info.....thanks!
