It feels really good to play, but it's way too hard imo. I mean, after dying a couple of times just to learn how I'm meant to play the game, I'm dying repeatedly just because, I feel like, my cannons don't do much, and I get run down by the quicker, smaller dudes every time. if I save for the anvil I have far less firepower too. Feels like you haven't calibrated for the unaware player like me
I lasted a lot longer, maybe 3 times as long, but was still overwhelmed in the end. picking up the droplets could be easier, I feel like I have to get my mouse exactly on them basically.. so a bigger radius on that would help. but also, I just don't think I have the strat figured out. I know there has to be an optimal way to play it. It being called a tower defense means, to me, making mazes with tight spots that enemies are blocked behind, essentially funneling them through all the heavy-fire zones. So not to say every tower defense has to be a maze-defense, but that's my favorite style. so crazy as it may sound to be making all these suggestions, but what if the waves all come from one direction at a time? then you can sift them better, ... perhaps... like make alleys for them to come through. Anyway, I also have never played vampire survivor, so I might just be bad at this
That's a good idea! For now, this game is made for a jam that ends today and I won't be able to add the walls until then, but after that, I will update with some new buildings to help the player and adjust the game a little better. I haven't got the time to adjust the game in the best possible way but I try to fix the difficulty a little bit until the jam starts :) I will take into consideration all this feedback and will update the game. Hope you enjoyed it and thanks for the feedback!
