I'm having the same bug, no doors at the satellite buildings

same here! I thought I did have doors at first, but when I next played the game they were gone. I wonder if it was turning off "use old server names" that did it - before I restarted, the computer terminals showed the correct nato alphabet names, but the signs on the building didn't, so maybe whatever changed the signs to match got rid of the doors at the same time.
(please disregard if no-one else noticed that pattern)

Same, no doors at any satellite since start of current save. All other doors (around the main base, for instance) are there. I never used "old server name" option, so I doubt it has anything to do with that.

After second launch doors disappeared

I've also encountered this issue. New save made on version 0.7a  Played for awhile saved near a satellite and stopped playing for the night, loaded up my save the next day and the doors on all the satellites were gone. No other doors seem to be affected at the base or the bunker or anything like that.

Levitating mannequin

  • A mannequin is levitating on a pile of mannequins near the Uniform Tower

I saw this near Papa and Victor towers as far as I remevber. Maybe it's a kind of joke. I also saw other mannequins there after they disappeared from the base. They just lied on the ground near that levitating mannequin.  I think that they telport there after the story event. Anyway looks funny.

Kerfur bug 

I gave a piece of paper to Kerfur and sent him to get the reports, but if it persists in the middle of this process and move into the world, then he will just stand in one place and the piece of paper that I gave him will disappear.

Kerfur (non-omega) consistantly gets stuck on the curb outside the base if you have your garage closed. Possibly could add clip brush for them to glide over it, or add a little divot for ferfo to make their way through to the base?

I have to ask, Will the ramps be big enough that your atv can jump it?

There is a special path to the left of the main entrance that he can climb, but he ignores it. (Amega Kerfour, on the contrary, uses it)

Yeah ik, i could put a block for ai on some spots but it will affect ALL npcs, kerfurOs and other entities
Ill see if it can be fixed later, i dont know much about ai atm and ai is just wacky overall

On the first day, if you send a box with empty paper on it you get an email about daily task completion, but there shouldn't be any daily task on first day (ignore other emails, I just made a screenshot after I completed first week):

this looks like the only way to get weekly reward on first week

I think you are trying to run the executable itself from the desktop, but there is no VotV folder in the desktop. Try running the VotV.exe located in the WindowsNoEditor folder after you extract the game folder, or create a link to (path where you extracted votv folder)\WindowsNoEditor\VotV.exe file and run it

I don’t know if this is a bug or necessary, but I’ll write it. A lot of stylages spawned on one of the transformers. It's difficult to get there. Perhaps this is intended.

SPOILER ALERT: Game crashed. An event started on day 9 on 00:00 (I noticed I couldn't pause), I heard strange noises from outside, went there. There was nothing there. Noises started being louder as if something was approaching me and then game crashed. Eather arirals now have sounds and crash games or idk.

Sometimes I saw a message: saving error. And I couldn't save the game, and I couldn't pause too. 

This is most likely not tied to the event, but simply sometimes appears during the game at a random moment. I don't know however=)

Sending kerfus to fix servers makes him go to fix them for a second, then he comes back to the player and it claims that "kerfus cant find server" although there are broken servers, you gotta fix it..

started the game on the initial release of 0.7 at day 15 iirc, stopped playing at day 25 cus of the bug with the brownie event (event couldnt happen, the game wasnt saving or pausing for over a day), then continued that same save file on the new version with the hotfix [SPOILERS]: at some point had the event where the container falls from the sky in front of the facility that warns of the yellow spheres, some time after that (i wanna say on day 34 or 35-ish?) the giant yellow pyramid tripod came and ate all the yellow spheres, but then the same evening, after the giant tripod left, all the yellow spheres came back. it is day 36 and all the yellow spheres are still roaming the map. i may be misremembering from previous versions, but i thought the spheres were supposed to be gone after the pyramid absorbs them, so i thought i should report it as a bug. love the game, love the update, thanks for all the hard work <3

When I bought a coffee machine the plug spawned underground when the box broke and I can't get it out now

On the back of it (where the plug is coming from) there is a 'Retract' button that allows to get it back no matter where it is

i found this bug too but in 0.6.3b

I've heard of the doors disappearing but has anyone else had the entire tower disappear? I didnt take a screenshot but the tower vanished and all that was left was its platform with the props that were on the tower sitting on it. It returned when i reloaded the save but it was odd bug.

The ariral treehouse started on day 17 (was 27) and the campfire does not spawn and there is no rising smoke. Is this a bug or a change?

Others also experienced the entire tower dissappear, I don't know if that is an event or not, because I didn't had it dissappear myself yet, but it seem to happen at the same time as it loses connection

The treehouse appearing earlier is just a change, developer made it that all the events happen much more earlier, I think even the big pyramid appears on day 35 instead of 42, and I got the first triangle ship signal on day 7 instead of day 14 or 15

About the Tower Disappearing, Recently There was a meme about a 200ft Radio Tower That was stolen In Alabama, this may be on purpose. Either way, its Still Funny because How it looks like its referencing it.

Some minor things:

I have trouble with the fridge. There was a roach behind it and it was collising it making ragdoll noises, the doors were closing alone when opened. I moved the  fridge from its position to fix it and now I can't put it back.

Also when Kerfus returns to the base it sometimes gets stuck in the crub/elevation of the base causing a severe frame drop until moved.

Edit: I forgot to mention I have trouble with items dropping on the floor when pressing E instead of saving them to the inventory. I don't know what triggers it but reloading seems to fix it.

If you can't move the fridge just because its too heavy, try moving it with ATV (Grab ATV and push the fridge with it)

Kerf getting stuck on everything should be fixed in the next update I think

About items dropping on the floor: you mean pressing R, not E? Maybe your alt key got stuck, because ALT + R is drop item

I'm trying the ATV mothod to see if it works, the place is too narrow to do it by hand.

Sorry I meant the R button. You can see I'm not the only one with the problem, no alt key stuck, It happens at random.

That Dropping Thing Happened to me, I thought my alt key was stuck but i Triple check and it wasnt Stuck. It seems to happen randomly and possibly when you pickup paper (Rough Guess).

Some bugs I noticed (spoilers ahead):

Bug 1 - So, the white puffball mushrooms can just kind of... explode. My friend and I found this out on accident. Whenever they explode, they can leave behind growing puffball mushrooms (like those in the plant pots), which sometimes stack upon each other, leading to more exploding mushrooms, which makes them start to spread like a cancer. Those mushroom rings you can find around the map start to become infested with them.

Bug 2 - As mentioned by user "eggtouch", the yellow wisps/killer wisps still spawn after the pyramid arrives. However, they officially stop spawning once the Rozital Spider Scout things arrive.

Bug 3 - When attempting to nail/pin a paper to a wall in the main room (the signal room), if the paper falls it embeds itself in the wall. It can be grabbed out, but it's slightly frustrating.

Bug 4 - Was playing 0.7.0 (0006) today and for some reason this giant checkered gray box was in the garage, it didn't have any collisions so I could still walk around the garage, and after some time I came back to the base and it vanished; the ATV made a collision noise, the interior door to the garage opened, and there was an extra toolbox in the garage. Dunno what happened, but I also noticed that when copying this issue over to sandbox, the gray box vanished after deleting all foliage.

Bug 5 - This might have already been fixed in 0006, but I would like to make sure, but in 0005, drives could also explode, exclusively in the part of the signal terminals where you play signals; on rare occasions, attempting to extract a signal onto a drive in the slot would make it explode, sometimes even so much as inserting a drive into the slot would cause it to explode.

Bug 6 - When using the Sell Gun, some sold props will drop coins that give 0 points.

Bug 7? - Don't know if this is a bug or not, but I'm getting a lot of mushrooms spawning around my base. Don't know if the spawn rate for mushrooms was increased or if the animal skulls now boost mushroom growth or something, because I do have a lot of animal skulls in my base...

Bug 8 - On a related note, mushrooms can spawn in the river.

Bug 9? - Also don't know if this is a bug or just not implemented yet, but electronic trash cannot be turned into electronic scrap.

Bug 10 - Buckets have a tendency to just kind of... move through walls? Whenever I put a bucket in the utility closet, it always somehow ends up in the stairwell.

Edit: Bug 11 - I think the fully upgraded radar is starting to lag out the game. My game seems to drop 20 frames whenever I look at it.

Edit 2: Regarding above, it seems to have fixed itself? I'm not sure, might still want to look into that.

Edit 3: Nevermind, seems to be happening off and on.

White mushrooms are taken from real mushrooms that multiply by exploding, just explosion range for them there is set much higher

Yellow wisps remaining after big pyramid is intended, Rozital Spider Scout things are supposed to take the remaining ones

Drives exploding is probably intended, if drive gets damaged too much it will explode on use, to avoid players just throwing the drives around

I also noticed that the spawn rate for mushrooms it a lot higher, on 0.6.3 even after 30 days there just about 10 of them, but on 0.7.0 even on second week there is more than 40 mushrooms growing around, this is probably a bug, because I don't think the roof is supposed to be fully covered in mushrooms

Buckets moving through walls was a bug even in earlier version, I think they move only when player far away or on save & reload

I mean, yeah, puffball mushrooms "explode", but they don't literally combust in a violent explosion.

I hope the drives exploding isn't a feature, I'd prefer if all the things on my desk and in the surrounding area were not sent flying everywhere because of something random I can't control. :)

Got the same checkered box bug, though it won't go away. Showed up around day 23 and hasn't vanished yet.

Apparently it's related to an event. The Dupe Debug Test build fixes that bug, but it's an experimental version.

Indicated spot has no collision on the ground. Area is large enough for player to fall through, and deep enough that I had difficulty getting out before I grabbed some nearby trash and dropped it in the space. Allows access to a huge area under the map, not sure how large exactly but definitely out of bounds.

Unrelated to the attached picture: I can occasionally hear loud, rapid, metallic, clanging sounds in the base. It sounds like something is somehow getting stuck in the ground or a wall or whatever, freaks out for a few seconds, and then fixes itself only to happen again later. It seems to be coming from either somewhere on the second floor or somewhere out on the roof, but I can't find anything that is causing it. I don't think this is related to any specific event or entity, but someone else might know better than me. EDIT: Upon further investigation, I can hear the sound loudest--really annoyingly so--when standing in the main hallway, near all the doors to the break room, signal processing, etc. Going the second floor, it sounds somewhat quieter. I assume there is a gap between the two floors, just going by the slightly cracked grate in the ceiling of the signal room (please no spoilers if possible) so maybe it's coming from there.

So I'm around day 44 and the event with the mechanical orbs that shoot lasers at you that are using a bigger laser to dig into the big hole and I can not seem to save. I've been told I have to wait for them to leave after a couple of days, but I made it 3 days before I tried wandering back only to get shot and die. Is there a certain amount of days I need to wait, is there something I should be doing, for instance I had to interact with the holographic marker during the wisps event to re-activate saving but I can not for the life of me figure out what the heck I am supposed to do or if this is a bug of some sort? If it's a bug, that's cool it is an experimental build after all, but I feel I've tried everything from trying to kill them, to jumping into the laser,  nail gunning them, mass searching for signals and upgrading them, etc, so If I'm being an idiot PLEEEEASSE just spoil for me what to do so I can get back to decorating or tell me it's bugged so I can just put the game on hold until a later version comes out. Please and thank you. Also I created a thread for this bug, sorry I'm new to itch and didn't see this bug thread my bad.

I fell into the bottom of the hole and it teleported me to the beginning of the game, then the event was over. Try doing that. Avoid the yellow laser.

After receiving signal "THE END IS NEAR" and doing whatever needs to be saved, i eventually dying. No matter what, i get a thic "GAME OVER" screen.

Delete all copies on the PC.

i can confirm this one recently done the event myself and you cant "solve" it in any way be it deleting signal, wiping it, DESTROYING it etc does nothing, i 100% destroyed its trace and it still kills you perpetually soft locking you (experimental B)

I hope they fix this in 0.7.0b2
