Cybersonic Strike is a bullet-heaven + top-down shooter roguelike that mixes the extensive build creation of Brotato with fast-paced action combat inspired by Hades and 20 Minutes Till Dawn. Craft powerful builds as you dash and blast your way through hordes of enemies and dive deeper into a worldwide cybersystem!
You start each run by selecting a weapon (each with their own primary and secondary firing modes) and an Archetype that encourages experimenting with a specific playstyle and stats. Augment your loadout during the run with hundreds of upgrades and powerful auto-firing abilities to craft a uniquely powerful build on every run! You’ll be able to summon potent effects that will shock, slow, overheat, and infect enemies, sending waves of devastation across the battlefield. Auto-abilities and enemy attacks even sync to the beat of the music, letting you get in tune with the action!
Future versions of the demo and Early Access will also add narrative updates to the game, allowing you to recruit party members from around the world and work together with them to unearth lost data. You will be able to forge stronger relationships with your allies by completing their quests, and they’ll help you in further runs, unlocking new abilities, upgrades and cosmetics!
