I am working on a passion project of mine, "The Legend of Kror". It is a passion project of mine that I am funding out of my pocket. The game takes place in 8th-century Afghanistan and follows the life story of a mythical Pashtun figure named Amir Kror.
The Role: Gameplay Designer
The role of the Gameplay Designer is to design the gameplay areas in the Game Design Document. In addition to designing the core mechanics, rules and systems in the GDD as well which will drive the gameplay experience.
Requirements:
An understanding of core gameplay mechanics, possessing an understanding of design principles, from balancing challenge and reward to designing compelling feedback loops. You can conceptualize and define engaging mechanics that fit my vision.
The candidate needs to have an understanding of C++.
Payment Modality:
The Gameplay Designer will be paid on a deliverable basis. The deliverable will be on a per-gameplay area basis and a per systems basis (for example, combat systems, stealth system, etc.). If you have any further questions in regards to this, please send them to me via email.
Further negotiations will determine the per deliverable amount to be paid.
