It's not easy to announce the game.
I made a new game.
I made it because I thought it was fun, but I don't think anyone knows it.
I'm a little upset.
I'd like to know what the problem is, but there's no way to know.
I'm not doing it because I want to let you know, but I'm just wondering why it's really unpopular.

There's a lot of games out there, and getting noticed takes both work and luck.

From what I can tell, you've done a lot of things right with making your game look interesting for potential players. For one, you've got a free demo available. Many games on itch.io get ignored because people don't want to pay for a game that could be boring. Having a free demo fixes this problem.

You've also included a video with gameplay and a description of what the game entails. These are all good things.

But, have you advertised your game on social media platforms? Have you tried building an audience on YouTube or TikTok?

Thank you for your opinion.

I started writing about potential problems with your game page, then noticed something: you just published it yesterday. Give it some time!

I'll have to do that.

When you first publish a game on itch.io it takes some days to get indexed. But you should not expect to much from getting indexed. If you have no other promotion (like followers somewhere...) you will most likely get not much attention. On itch.io there is a new game published every few minutes ... so without additional promotion the most likely player count for your game is 0.

I think it means that we have to advertise after all.
