Hey there! Overall I think this is a pretty good start, but I found some issues in the combat that may have amplified themselves due to my playing in single player with a melee class. I counted the number of frames between the beginning of an attack animation and the frame where it does damage and it ended up being 3 frames to react in 30fps footage. I'm not sure what kind of flow you want for the final product, but that amount of time is virtually impossible for even the fastest people to react to, add on top of that the lack of animation canceling and it starts to feel like you're just going to take damage when the game feels like it. I absolutely loved the art and story but when the core gameplay felt as if it were just hurting me whenever it wanted to with so little ability to avoid it, it became frustrating very quickly! I learned a lot by watching your video. I don't think Dark Souls would be the best title to compare this to. But I get what you're saying, and understand where you're coming from. I think I have some ideas that can fix this without having to change too much of what is already there. We're gonna give it a try and see if it works.

I completely get where you're coming from, it's just my go to example when I need to make a comparison about how damage can be seen, reacted to and avoided. Glad you found the feedback useful! :)
