Are you obligated to delete your game from the page if you make it with a cracked engine?

Let's say I crack RPG Maker, and then I make a game, later I confess in one post that I used a cracked version of RPG Maker to make the game. Do I have to delete the game or can I keep it?

First of all I wouldn't confess to that 2nd of all I'd keep it

I don't think you'd have to delete it. That's between you and the creators of RPGMaker. It would only be a problem if they sent a takedown request.

I do not think they could send a takedown request. But they might press charges and demand contact information about the perpetrator. And this might end with termination of the account anyways, as I would imagine itch does not support games that were made by criminal methods and license violations.

So no charges or takedown would be needed, only a report of someone pointing those violations out to itch ;-)

But imagine a Unity game where the developer does not pay the fees. Do such games get pulled? Could they be pulled? On what grounds?

What you have to do is pay for your copy of RPG Maker, because the people who created it deserve to be paid.  Taking down your game isn't going to make this right.  The people who created RPG Maker can't buy food for their families with you taking down their game.  They need money.
