Extreme Armature Lag When Pribambase is enabled

This is such a great plugin. It's not a huge issue for my workflow but my armatures started moving at less than 1fps with pribambase enabled, thought you should know. I'm on an older pc and this is running blender 3.6, I'm running a branch called Goo Engine if that's relevant. I don't usually have this kind of problem.

(PS I didn't realise but my recording settings are at 5fps to be sped up for timelapse, that's not what my monitor looks like. You should still be able to observe the issue)

Heyo. I see no issues at ~1.1Ghz, in normal version of blender, so the cause must be more specific than just armature being present. Does it happen to any armature to you, or only certain files?

First, can you look if there’s anything in system console (Window > Toggle System Console).

Then, try changing UV update from ‘always’ to ‘manual’ in the addon panel, and see if anything changes.

Hey Lampy, I think I isolated the issue.

If I use the location of a bone as a driver for the offset parameter of an image sequence this seems to cause lag (ie. using a bone as a driver for 2D texture animation etc.). I have a facial animation setup in most of my characters with several drivers that was causing this lag. Here's a screencap of how I recreated the bug in isolation.
