Greetings, adventurer!

I am thrilled to share the first Demo for Elderstale, my epic fantasy RPG game I've been working on for the last 2 months. Before you delve into the mystical world of Elderstale, let's take a peek behind the curtain at the technical magic that brings the immersive experience to life.

Technical Side: Elderstale is crafted with Unreal Engine by a solo developer (hey that's me!), utilizing its robust features to breathe life into the enchanting landscapes, intricate quests, and formidable foes that await you. With over three years of Unreal mastery, I aim to deliver a seamless and visually immersive gaming experience.

First Demo Playthrough: Level 10 Cap! I'm excited to announce the release of our first demo playthrough! In this initial taste of Elderstale, players are limited to reaching Level 10. It's a deliberate choice to introduce you to the core mechanics, quests, and the mesmerizing world that lies ahead.

Mobs, Loots, and More: Encounter a diverse array of creatures, from rabid wolves to mighty bears, each with its own challenges and rewards. What rare loot awaits you?

Some demo keys which will not be in future builds:

  • 'Z' to open up GM panel

I'm very excited to see what people think about this project. For more information, check out the game's page: https://isikdev.itch.io/elderstale

Hope you enjoy it!

I'm really impressed with that. REALLY good game. That atmosphere is great, the combat system is also solid despite being simple. Also,  the story seems really promising. This game will be epic when you release the full version! The only mistake I saw is the speed of the character. He's slow, and there isn't a key to run.

Hi! Thank you very much for your input. I've thought about making the movement speed an attribute, so as the player progresses, they will find items (boots) that give them increased movement speed.

Nice idea.

Looks interesting! Goodluck

Thank you!
