So here is what I think about how the weapon work that seems buggy to me:

The weapon launches its missile by the bottom (bottom-right), so when the character is close to a wall the missile explode right away.

Maybe it'll be cool to launch the missile from different origin points considering the shot direction

I'll take care of that right away. My idea is that, if the player is in collision with that very wall, stop the fire ball from being able to enter in collision with the wall in question for enough so that it can get away, and then reactivate the behavior.

Considering the ennemies, you can play "safe": when you quickly go beyond a distance, the ennemies stop following you... but you can reach them with the missile, so it's really easy. Maybe 1. the ennemies should follow you all along after a first sight 2. the missile may have a limited range, the same size or shorter than the ennemies detection range? What do you think?

EZ I'm basically going to make sure that the distance for the ennemi to keep following you is the size of the screen or even a little bigger, and when it comes to the walls, I'll use the pathfinding behavior.

Cool! It'll add some "mandatory" fun^^ I like to jump in the melee :)

Little last minute update, I am not able to make the ennemis avoid the wall using the pathfinding behavior. But I decided that was okay. They are supposed to be some of the easiest ennemis of the game after all.
