can't log in (mobile error)

Hello, I've just downloaded the demo. When I log in (had no issues signing up, or trouble getting redirected, etc.) and reopen the game I get a message that says 'Mobile version is only available to Patreon users.' I've tried using Edge, Safari, and Chrome and got the same problem each time. Hoping for a fix, thanks.

edit: to clarify, I'm on Mac

That's odd. Are you accessing the mobile version from a Mac? Are you a patron?

We've got a free demo available for Apple desktop users, but unfortunately, there's no iOS version due to how Apple manages their app development software.

I downloaded the SOULCOOM_mac.zip and that's what I tried running, on OS Monterey 12.2.1. I'm not a patron either. It is quite confusing Q_Q

Oh, the latest version? I don't have a mac but I will do a test tmrw morning with my colleague to make sure it is working.

Yes, the latest version. It does open, I just tried it just now and got the same message again.

If you are a mac user and you are having an issue opening the file, please hold CTRL while opening it to override Apple's appstore DRM.

I have had no trouble opening the game? I tried holding ctrl anyway but the problem persists

I'm here to help, but I need a bit more info to get things sorted.

Check out this video (https://soulcoom.itch.io/soulcoom-dev/devlog/568460/faq-how-to-signup) and give me a shout with the step number you're stuck on. It's Windows but the login process is the same.
