Hey, I'm Brad. I'm a professional writer and illustrator with a background in the games and comic book industries, and I just released the second episode of an experimental serial novella using Adam Ledoux's Bitsy Tools.
You play as Tom Dangercat - a thief whose been suspended from his usual gang activities over a debt to the all seeing Court of Knaves. Help him get his gang back by stealing rare collectibles, and then plot future heists in an intricately woven lo-fi world that evolves with each episode.
In Witching Hour - Tom is making his way back to town through wooded trails after a night of thieving and dancing. Along the way you might encounter the Bear Lobster fishing for fungus in the dark; or his counterpart - a mushroom gnome hiding in a soup can offering psychoactive haiku if you can help him evade the hungry crustacean forager.
Tom also faces a reckoning after stealing a rare comic book from a masked crime-fighter in the previous adventure, and is offered the choice to join forces, or double-cross her.
Densely written, and carefully plotted - the game is rich with details and hidden nuggets of world-building comedy, poetry, philosophy, science, magic, and romance. It's a real mixed bag! What's more, your feedback on social media will help shape future episodes. Get interactive! Follow on twitter and instagram to push the story the way you want it to go.
