Have this game on drivethru from the kickstarter but thought I'd share here, since I finally tidied it up and posted it! Here is a link to my first playthrough, which is quite ooky spooky, so mind the tags. Didn't jot the cards down in text for a more immersive reading experience, hope that's alright! :3
My character was a child of the wood, adopted by a barren couple when she was a baby. All of her life she felt called by the woods and was torn between her family and the woods. Each day she would find a way to return but she returned each night.
In the end, she decided to leave the Woods for good and never return. She almost got lost. There were too many closed called and her parents almost kicked her out screaming that if she wanted to go, she should. She had to cajole them into letting her in and never went back in the forest.
I had a lot of fun! I liked the prompts a lot. (I backed it on KS)
Just started my playthrough of this game, listening to the In the Earth soundtrack whilst playing is so spooky! I will post my writing from it when I've finished it, but I couldn't help sprinkling in those in the earth aspects haha. Black Hill & Silent Island is also a great album to listen to for it! I'm playing as a fern biologist / botanist who goes out with a team in search of new plantlife, and to uncover a blank spot in their memory from when they last lived in the woods :D
