There have been many a times where I would reach the tentacle boss, he would do his tentacle whip attack and the game would auto close to where I have to start all over. Is there any way around it or a save in a somewhat similiar spot we can pick up from? I've gotten to the tentacle boss 4 times now and it always auto closes on me :(

First time I hear about this... But I'm certain I made a save point (statue) just before the Tentacle boss fight on the same floor.

heres the thing tho, when the game auto closes, it also removes all the save files from my pc. so i have to start all over again.
