bug? couldnt cast magic unless I recalled first

Can provide a safe if necessary but I was about to fight the hydra underwater in forest of runes vault when I entered the battle unable to cast magic with either aura or the wind slime. Which remained true even upload reloading the pre-fight save. Recalling and backtracking has made everything fine, unsure what happened.

edit - i can no longer provide a save i forgot and saved over it LOL

You cannot use magic underwater at 0 Air, which basically silences you.

I had air. I had 700 or so in fact. I was simply locked out of magic unnecessarily. (C'mon I was up to the Hydra, I clearly know the game!) I was using a wind slimes ability to exist, I was completely prepped to fight the Hydra. 

The only interaction I can tell you I did differently is that it was the first time I had used the rune that restores 100 willpower. 

Unfortunately if you can't provide a save getting to a testing state where all the variables are what they were when you experienced the issue is going to be next to impossible.

Yeah I understand. I intended to keep it aside but just autopiloted my saves after I 'fixed' the issue through recalling.
