When trying to fight a boss I had the Ballwark effect active, and mouse hovering over it since I was still getting used to the effect. When the enemy hit me, removing the effect, the tooltip didn't disappear, making the rest of the fight just a little bit harder.
I made risky decisions prior to the fight so I died during it, and wasn't able to see if it persisted after I won.
