Flowers?
So here's a sketch for a little experiment painting I'm making for my puzzle game.
Usually in painting it's all about the shading, the values( darkness/lightness of colors). I decided to say screw it and to see if i can paint something using exactly the same value for each color. If you turn off the saturation for this psychedelic mountain thing sketch it looks like a flat gray image and nothing is discernible. Should be an interesting challenge.
Here's a sketch of a character thing i want to paint. A bit inspired by those creepy Victorian baby pictures where a mother would creepily sit there or try to hide, sometimes under a tablecloth, because the picture took too long to just leave the child on a chair by itself.

Thanks. I did go with a well tested path of combining browns and blues here. It rarely fails

I'm wondering how you managed to get water color like effects along side markers? Are these special pens or is it a technique?
It's (normal water soluble) ink applied with a fountain pen, and them smeared with a wet paint brush. The ink creeps into the water, just like with water color.
