how do you solve the puzzle of the watermill about the water pressure and oil level

i literally asked top mathematicians about this puzzle and even them are having trouble on it

Oh I remember doing that one, here is what I did so I remember one of them changes the other by something like 3 if I remember correctly and the other one changes the other by 1 so I just kept increasing one side until I had 19 (which is the highest you can go) and put the other as 16 I think?

could you be a little more specific

Set water pressure to 20, oil to 16. Then decrease Water til 13

You only stated the result. You didn't explain "how" to 20/16

I'm going to be honest with you, I have done it but I forgot how so I just searched it up because I didn't want to go and start over

No_Thanku is right,

First, go to oil and max it out all the way to 20, this will also make water at 20 being that 20 is the max

Second, go over to water pressure, go

-1

+1

-1

+1

This will set water back to 20, while there have been 4 changes to it technically, so the oil is now at 16.

Lastly, go to water and from 20, make it go to 13, and this will in turn make oil go to 9, and then the puzzle will be complete
