I’m working on a web3 gaming project - it’s a 2D AI-v-AI fighting game experience that’s live-streamed 24/7. Fights are recorded on the blockchain. Spectators can place bets and influence the fight outcomes. Players can code the AIs themselves. Fighters can be traded as NFTs.
The vision is to build a fantastic no-frills entertainment experience whilst avoiding the pitfalls of many current web3 games. It’s also a chance to onboard a whole bunch of gamers into web3 a eventually build out a studio of games of a similar style in terms of player-coded AIs.
I’m looking for Javascript programmers (preferably full-stack), artists, Spine skeletal animators, social media experts, to join the team.
The engine is inspired by Mugen and built on Pixi.js. The backend is in Node.js with a PostgresDB. In terms of Blockchains we’re currently running on testnet.
Game dev progress so far:
- Basic engine - done
- Basic sprites and animations - done
- Live stream on Youtube - done (in test mode)
- Betting aspect - in-progress
- Crypto wallet onboarding - in-progress
I have a whitepaper written out with the full planned roadmap, which I’m happy to share with anyone interested. Please contact me here or on Discord (Ram#4182).
thanks, Ram
