About Pixel Empires
Pixel Empires is a fully moddable randomly generated scaleable 2D Sandbox Open World in a Medieval Fantasy setting which takes Inspiration from the Mount & Blade series where you create your own Story.

- World Generation
the world in Pixel Empires is randomly generated, players can modify the generator settings to affect the world size, the number of factions,clans and unique characters. more generator specific configurations will be implemented in the next versions of the World Generator. Not only the Outside_ but also the Inside is randomly generated - to be more specific: this means that generated POIs like Citys,Castles,Caves that you can enter through the Worldmap are also randomly generated and unique per POI, you will never see the same map in any POI or any playthrough of Pixel Empires. The Number of Citizens and the size of the POIs is dependant on their position and surroundings. - Quest Generation
quests in Pixel Empires are randomly generated. they are not meaningless quests as the quests you get in mount and blade. each quest has some sort of impact in the world of Pixel Empires. You can paste in your own Storys for the Quest Generation as the storys are implement through a template which gives you control over the description and tasks the quest will have. the quest generator will then randomly choose the locations and involved characters depending on the information in the template which also includes creating new unique characters if necessary. An example would be a Story about a Mage that turned evil and learned Necromancy Magic and is raising a Skeleton Army, this spawns an Skeleton Faction which can grow in numbers depending on any NPC hunts the skeleton faction or if the player gets the quest from the factions or villages where the skeletons are roaming around. - Faction, Clans and Unique Characters_
Factions,Clans and Unique Characters are randomly named, the list of possible names can modified over config files. Factions and Clans control POIs, each Faction has a Leader - so does each Clan. Factions have a political Hierarchy and Fiefs are distributed to unique Characters which are members of Clans. The Player can create his own clan, or marry an unique Character which gives the player the choice to join the Clan of his partner or make the partner join the players Clan. - Diplomacy & Relation System
The Diplomacy System in Pixel Empires goes one further step, as diplomacy does not happen only between factions but also between clans. For example 2 factionless clans could form a coalition and attack another Faction, take one of their POIs and create their own faction. This is not limited to NPCs, the player can do the same. Every Action that is made has an effect on the relations to other characters,clans and factions in the world. - Character Progession
every Character has an Attribute and Skill-Tree. Attribute Points are gained by aging. You could say, the Age of the character is his Level. Skill Points are gained by performing any Skills
of the Skill-Tree.
