Hi, I've just released an audiobook on itch.io! It's a bit of a non-traditional place to sell one, but there's nothing traditional about the audiobook though.
It was entirely recorded outdoors while hiking & birding. Most of it is like a hike along with a birding guide, who points out the songs & calls of birds being heard in the recording. There are some additional soundscapes, as well.
This platform was my choice for those who'd like to download the files direct without DRM, but most importantly, it is high-quality audio, whereas most audiobook sellers are going to be compressing the audio at least some, which is a detriment to audio quality.
